On Tuesday, Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore played the 39th match of the Indian Premier League, in which Rajasthan Royals won by 29 runs against RCB. It was a very close competition for them to compete and win the match, and this time, finally, the Rajasthan Royals gave their unique performance and won the game.
When teams’ strongest cricketers failed to make things go well in some of the matches, their other teammates had to try harder to help the teams win, as captain Faf du Plessis was run-out from the match very soon and he contributed only 23 runs, so their dashing batsman like Virat Kohli had to stay in the game and must play harder in the game. But instead of that, Kohli contributed 9 runs only. The scores didn’t suit his personality as he can hit massive runs in the game and that’s made the team coach, Ravi Shastri, suggest Kohli take a break from cricket sometimes.
The RCB batsmen’s batting was not up to the mark as there was no one to hit a half-century and this gave an overview that RCB would lose the match against Rajasthan Royals. Rajasthan Royals have one of the boldest players in Riyan Parag, whose half-century helped his team to win the game, and also Ravichandran Ashwin, who was in form to pick up 3 wickets in 17 bowls for their team in the last match.
After Faf was knocked out of the game, Wanindu Hasaranga played well as he contributed 18 runs in just 13 bowls, but his one minus point is that he never took care of anything and let himself play with freedom till he got out of the game. Shahbaz Ahmed tried hard to increase his runs beyond 17, but he failed due to Prasidh Krishna picking his wickets in the game.
Ravi Shastri was so disappointed by Virat Kohli’s performance that they couldn’t understand what was going wrong from Kohli’s end as he failed to add good runs in the game. Virat Kohli needs a break from cricket for some time, as he previously said that he needs a break for 6 months to overcome his personal things and then return to cricket, which will always be open for him.
Many of the Indian batsmen try harder to be in the biggest tournament for their team and work hard in their cricket journey, but they don’t get a chance to play in the biggest tournament, just like Pravin Tambe, who struggled a lot to be in the Ranji tournament, represent the Indian team and at 40 years of age, he made his first debut. But players like Virat Kohli, who inspired young talents and also gave a lot of things to the Indian team and RCB, then what is stopping him from becoming a hitman in the game? Kohli needs to stand up in the game or have to take a break from cricket for some time for some change.
