After elimination from the second qualifier match, the RCB and their fans felt bad about their loss, as after huge efforts from the teams, somewhere they missed the opportunity to perform well and eliminate before the finals of the IPL, which was on May 29th, 2022. It was such a tough situation for RCB to get eliminated from the second qualifying match against Rajasthan Royals on May 27th, 2022. If they won against Rajasthan Royals, then they would win in the finals as they have the experience to defeat Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2022.

But, things changed and didn’t remain the same as the players’ performing styles also changed, and somewhere they attempted a little lower and lost the chance and match too, which they might have reached the finals of all 2022. At the end of the eliminator match, RCB’s great finisher, Dinesh Karthik, expressed his desire to win the title for RCB at least in the upcoming IPL season.

Dinesh says that in the IPL journey, he performed a lot of times for Mumbai Indians, Delhi Daredevils, Kings XI Punjab, Gujarat Lions, and Kolkata Knight Riders, but the attention and support that he got from the crowd as an RCB player was something special for him, which he will never forget in his life. Dinesh Karthik was bought by RCB in the 2022 IPL at a cost of Rs 5.50 crore.

Dinesh Karthik was the batsman who plays the main role in the cricket on which his team’s victory depends. As a finisher, he made an incredible knock and also faced strikes as well, for which he was awarded as a super striker. Karthik managed his game so well to score around 330 runs in 16 matches at an excellent strike rate of 183.33 and an average of 55. He was also the fourth player to make the most runs for his team in the season.

I am the most blessed and lucky person to have performed for RCB in the 15th season of IPL. I got huge support from my senior players like Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell, and Faf du Plessis, and also mentors gave full attention to improving my performance. But the role of fans was so different in my life, which gave me positive energy to do well for them, and I did it. But I am unsatisfied as the team didn’t reach the finals. We let down the RCB fans this year but will try our best to win the title next year, says Dinesh Karthik in the video, which was posted by RCB’s official YouTube handle.
