The four-word tweet accurately captures his current attitude. Pakistan lost the Asia Cup 2022 and the seven-match T20I series against England without Shaheen. Despite not being fully fit, Afridi is a member of Pakistan’s T20 World Cup squad. The pacer won’t return to the 22-yard strip until he is fully fit, according to the Pakistan team management.
Friday marks the start of a tri-series between Pakistan, Bangladesh, and New Zealand, with the opener taking place against the Bangla Tigers. Afridi plays for the Pakistani team. He may or may not be included in the starting XI, but that has not yet been determined. Shaheen must perform at his peak level once more for Babar Azam & Co.
