Kane Williamson, the captain of New Zealand, and paceman Trent Boult are reportedly not expected to play in the opening on November 18 at home white-ball series against India. A three-match Twenty20 International series involving both sides will be followed by an equal number of One Day Internationals.
Williamson and Boult may be given a break after competing in the T20 World Cup 2022, which is why they are not available for the entirety of the bilateral series. The Kiwis had a standout T20 World Cup run, however they were eliminated from the competition after losing to Pakistan by seven wickets in the semifinals.
