Rishabh Pant shared an Instagram story to provide an update on his rehabilitation.

Rishabh Pant, an Indian wicket-keeper batsman who was injured in a nearly deadly vehicle accident on December 30, may now finally “sit out and breathe fresh air.” Since the tragedy, Pant has had several operations. He recently updated his fans on his health via an Instagram story. A pant may be seen sitting outside in the posted photo, enjoying the return of some fresh air. The cricket player uploaded a touching caption, reflecting on the dramatic events that have occurred in his life over the past few months, while he had the chance to enjoy life’s most fundamental pleasures.

Pant’s talents would undoubtedly be missed as the Indian cricket team prepares for a 4-match Test series against Australia. The wicket-keeper batter gained notoriety for what he accomplished during India’s previous trip to Australia. Thus, Ian Chappell of Australia believes that the absence of the stumper will not go over well with the hosts.

“India is really going to really miss Rishabh Pant. The Australians will be happy. He is a counterattacker, the guy who keeps you awake are guys who score quickly and changes the game in one session. Pant was one such player,” Chappell said during an interaction organized by Star Sports.

During the limited-overs series against New Zealand, Indian cricketers were seen praying for Pant’s rapid recovery. The cricketers visited the renowned Mahakaleswar temple in Ujjain while they were in Madhya Pradesh for the third and final ODI against New Zealand. Suryakumar Yadav, Kuldeep Yadav, and Washington Sundar, along with the personnel of the Indian cricket team, arrived at Mahakal Temple early on Monday morning. Indian teammate Pant’s quick recovery was requested in a prayer to Mahakal, according to star batter Suryakumar Yadav.
