After dismissing Martin Guptill in the Pakistan Super League match 25 on March 8, Pakistan’s fast bowler Wahab Riaz was seen kissing his helmet. Riaz took the first wicket for Peshawar Zalmi, who were defending 240 in the match between Quetta Gladiators and Zalmi at the Pindi Club Field in Rawalpindi.
Guptill attempted to draw the speedster’s short delivery, but he was only able to top edge it, sending the ball high into the night sky. Riaz completed a caught and bowled dismissal by getting underneath the ball and taking a straightforward catch. The Pakistani speedster kissed Guptill’s helmet as he returned to the pavilion after successfully securing the ball in his hands. The pair could also be seen joking around as the Gladiators’ starting pitcher made his way to the bench. Fans on social media praised the two of them for their friendship.
