Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar are always mentioned while talking about the top batters in the world. Both batters have put an unmatched amount of effort and attention into their sport. The argument about whether of the two players is a better cricketer has been raging for a while.

Kohli has fully assumed the job of leading Indian cricket in the present era, much like Sachin did in the past. The similarities between the two are extremely many, whether comparing statistics or memorable moments. While Tendulkar has a strong hold on the older age, Kohli has more sway over the younger generation that is addicted to social media.

Former Pakistani cricketer Saqlain Mushtaq also spoke about the topic and offered his opinion on the whole thing. But, Mushtaq gave Tendulkar the advantage merely on the basis of the caliber of the bowlers he faced during his prime.

In a recent conversation, Saqlain Mushtaq discussed the similarities and differences between Virat Kohli and Sachin Tendulkar. While many believe that Kohli is the GOAT (Best of All Time) of the present era, Mushtaq asserted that Tendulkar is the greatest of all time.

“The bowlers of that era were something different altogether. Has Kohli faced Wasim Akram? Has he faced Walsh, Ambrose, McGrath, Shane Warne, and Muralitharan? These were big names, and they were all very clever bowlers. They knew how to trap you. Today there are two types of bowlers—one that will stop you and another that will trap you. Those guys knew how to do them both, especially trap batters,” he added.
